CANCELLED Composition - Senior Art Workshop

This two hour long workshop, for adults over the age of 55, will use the works of Danish artist Laurits Andersen Ring as inspiration for a deep dive into the use of composition in painting. Participants will receive a 30 minute guided introduction to Ring's use of compostion to create space and movement in his work, led by Manager of School and Community Partnerships, Corinne Flax. The tour will be followed by a 90 minute painting workshop led by teaching artist Eddie Nino. During the workshop, Nino will teach students how they can use composition in their paintings to create depth and space. All materials will be provided, and light refreshments will be served.
